Swift Stops New York Traffic with Outdoor Show
Country star Taylor Swift has thanked fans in New York City for battling through the rain to watch her perform a free outdoor show in NYC’s Rockefeller Center on Friday morning (May 29)
Traffic in the Big Apple was brought to a standstill as hundreds of fans crowded the streets around Rockefeller Plaza in the wet conditions in anticipation of Swift's concert for TV's "Today Show."
Sparkling in a teal dress and black boots, the 19-year-old Nashville princess performed three of her hits songs — “Love Story,” “Our Song,” “Teardrops on My Guitar,” and the most recent chart topper, “You Belong With Me.”
And the singer is grateful for her fans' dedication after learning they lined up for hours to secure prime spots around the stage.
Taylor updated her MySpace at 2:45 AM this morning, saying, “It’s pretty priceless having my dad out here with me. Tonight I went shopping at TopShop in New York with the band. I got purple shoes. I’m really excited about the purple shoes, and I just needed to tell someone. I got purple shoes. Ok. That’s done. Tomorrow, after the performance on the Today show, I’ll fly back to Nashville and record a lot of new songs I’ve written in the last few weeks. I’m really excited about that. I want to get back to the tour though. Bad. I miss it every time I’m gone for a day. I’ve never had more fun doing anything in my life than I have on the Fearless tour. Thank you so much to everyone who has come to see the show. I can’t even tell you how unreal it is for me, being up there, looking at those crowds. I just never thought I’d luck out like this.”

Miley Cyrus And Ashley Tisdale Get In Trouble!
It sounds like Miley Cyrus and Ashley Tisdale have very similar personalities, especially when it comes to their blunt, sarcastic humor. The Disney stars are said to be very opinionated, and often offend the people they are talking to.
Ashley Tisdale recently said, “Miley is definitely sarcastic. She says the funniest things, but I’m like that too - you know, a little bit blunt. She completely says it how it is and some people can get offended, but she’s just being honest. I think it’s a great quality about her. She’s not afraid to say anything! Sometimes it gets us into trouble. People can take it the wrong way, but Miley’s young and she just says this stuff and it doesn’t really faze her. You can’t take it too seriously. I speak my mind and I might offend someone, but I won’t mean to and I don’t think she does either. We’ll say it how it is and I think that’s the best thing about a person - being honest.”
Miley Cyrus Gets A Not So Big Paycheck From Disney
Yikes, it looks like Miss Miley Cyrus really upset some of the top executives at the Disney Channel because they are definitely not paying her what she is usually worth! Miley makes a lot more than most of us for a normal week of work, except one week that is coming up in June where she will only be making $5,000 for her guest appearance on the Disney Channel Original Series “The Suite Life on Deck.”
It is speculated that Disney is still upset about Miley and her dad trying to quit “Hannah Montana,” and are making her pay the price now, but asking her to work extra hours on cameo appearances for their other Disney Channel shows. We wonder how much longer Miley will last with Disney is they keep paying her far less than what’s she’s used to…what are your thoughts?
J.O.N.A.S. Game For Nintendo DS!
The Jonas Brothers are EVERYWHERE lately! They are performing at sold out concerts on their World Tour, Coming onto DVD with Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience, acting on television in the Disney Channel Original Series J.O.N.A.S., and now you can find the Jonas Brothers on your Nintendo DS system!
Disney is releasing an interactive Nintendo DS game in which fans can act along with Nick, Joe and Kevin in a game similar to their television series J.O.N.A.S. Players of the game will have to help the JoBros juggle their everyday lives, from school to concerts, friends and fans, while trying to stay normal teens and young-adults.
The Senior Vice President of Disney Interactive Studios, Craig Relyea, said that, “JONAS is the perfect complement to the hit television show, giving fans additional access to the Jonas Brothers as they portray the Lucas Brothers─their music, their fashion and their lives. The game delivers a unique blend of adventure, humor and music that will keep fans of the Jonas Brothers entertained and engaged this holiday season.”
Not only are Nick, Joe and Kevin in the video game, but so are the characters Macy and Stella from the J.O.N.A.S. television series. The players can visit the Jonas Brothers school, firehouse and other familiar locations from the Disney Channel show as well as customize the JB’s wardrobe - how fun!
By purchasing the video game, players will also gain access to DGamer, which is an online community exclusively for Disney gamers on the Nintendo DS system. In the community players can interact with other players through chat and can unlock additional items in their games.
Look for the J.O.N.A.S. game for Nintendo DS this fall!

Updates About Demi Lovato's Upcoming Album
Demi announced on her Twitter page that her second album would be released on July 21, 2009. She has stated that the new album is "going to have a different sound". In contrast to the pop rock influences of her debut album, Don't Forget this album will incorperate more "John Mayer-ish type of songs"
Demi announced on May 29 2009, via her Twitter, that the first single from the album would be 'Here We Go Again'. She stated that there will be a music video for the single and it will be filmed soon. No confirmed date has been given on the release of the single or the video.
Demi Lovato has been working with musical inspirations, Jon McLaughlin, William Beckett (her celebrity crush), and John Mayer on the new album.
Mayer, her No. 1 idol, has worked on two songs, "World of Chances" and "Shut Up and Love Me."
Lovato also cites not only pop singers Kelly Clarkson and Christina Aguilera as influences, but also Aretha Franklin. She said, "the music doesn't necessarily sound like hers, but there's some songs on there that I put a lot of heart and soul into, and she's really inspired me."
One song, "For the Love of the Daughter," deals with Lovato's estranged father. "We are not, and yes it is," she answered when asked if they were on speaking terms, or if the relationship was difficult. "That's life," she said.
Boys are easy fodder for her songs, but stardom gets in the way of teen romance. Lovato says it's hard to develop a meaningful relationship when a boy kisses her then exclaims, "I can't believe I'm kissing you."
"I hate relationships, so I'm not like a relationship-type person," she said. "But I have a lot of cute friends, That's all I need when you're 16 and in the spotlight."
Lovato's arena tour begins on June 21 in Hartford, Conn., and dates are on tap through August 24 in Manchester, New Hampshire. She would perform songs from her upcoming album in the tour.

Miley Cyrus is auctioning off four VIP tickets for A Time for Heroes Celebrity Picnic presented by Disney on June 7 at the Wadsworth Theater in Los Angeles.
The tickets are exclusively available on CharityFolks.com. The proceeds benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
The persons who gets those tickets and their three guests can walk the star-studded red carpet with more than 100 of today's hottest celebs, including Ashlee Simpson, Brittany Snow, Heidi Klum, Jaime Pressly, Lauren Bosworth, Lauren Conrad, Pete Wentz, Rumer Willis and Selena Gomez.

The new film by Miley Cyrus "The Last Song" will begin filming in the summer and are starting the hearings! The hearings will be held in Wilmington, North Carolina and Savannah, Georgia.
