Robert Pattinson Hit By Taxi

Robert Pattinson was involved in a minor car accident in New York yesterday after apparently being chased by fans.
Reports say the Twilight star had to flee hysterical girls when he was clipped on the hip by a taxi in the street. It’s thought he was unhurt.

It’s claimed one of his FIVE bodyguards said to the over-excited fans: “You see what you did, you almost killed him,” after the incident on Thursday afternoon (June 18).

Pattinson has been in the Big Apple filming a drama Remember Me and has already had to escape crazed followers.

On Monday the British actor was mobbed whilst on set and had to be rescued by security.

It seems it’s hard being a heartthrob….
